Quantitative Analyst
Build the models behind research that never invents a number.
About Tradoing
Tradoing is markets research that never makes up the numbers. Every figure traces to a real, checkable source; if a claim cannot be grounded, it is not shown. We are building the grounded research layer for analysts and investors, founder-led and early-stage.
The role
You build quantitative models and signals grounded in real, checkable data. Every model you ship is one you can explain and defend, with assumptions stated plainly and no invented inputs. You work closely with the Investment Analyst team and engineering.
What you will do
- Build and backtest quantitative models on real market data.
- Document assumptions and limitations clearly for every model shipped.
- Validate model outputs against real outcomes and flag drift.
- Work with engineering to get data pipelines and grounding right.
What you bring
- 2+ years in quantitative research, trading, or a related analytical role.
- Strong statistics and comfort with Python or a similar language for analysis.
- Rigor: you state assumptions and never dress up a guess as a fact.
- Clear writing that explains a model to a non-quant reader.
Nice to have
- A background in math, statistics, physics, or a related field.
- Experience with backtesting frameworks or trading systems.
- Coverage of Asian markets.
What we offer
- Fully remote. Work from anywhere in your timezone.
- Real ownership of your area from day one.
- A small, senior team and direct founder access.
- Async-first, low-meeting culture.
