The role

Calling a model is the easy part. You build and run production AI infrastructure: serving, orchestration, retries, and durable execution, with observability and security built in from the start. You work directly with a small, senior team and help deliver systems into real production environments.

What you will do

• Design and build production AI infrastructure: serving, orchestration, retries, and durable execution.
• Make AI systems observable and debuggable, with tracing, metrics, and replay of any run.
• Harden systems for enterprise: security, access control, and cost control for LLM workloads.
• Work directly with the founders and ship into real production environments.

What you bring

• Strong backend engineering in Python and/or Go.
• Experience running services in production, and a real understanding of reliability, retries, tracing, and cost control for AI or LLM systems.
• Comfort owning a system end to end in a small team.
• Clear written communication, especially in code review and design docs.

Nice to have

• Open-source contributions we can look at.
• Event sourcing or durable execution experience, such as Temporal or similar.
• MLOps at scale, or experience building LLM gateways or agent frameworks.
